Freeholder in managed estate

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to sell a freehold property in a managed estate where the management company has been struck off? It seems that lenders will not give a mortage for apartments in the same estate because of this.

Thanks.

Interesting question. Is the freeholder landlocked by other residents and the common areas owned by the management company? One issue here is that if the management company is struck off, it is unclear who owns the common areas which you may need to traverse to access your property. This type of thing tends to make banks nervous.
