Fixed or variable rate?

Just a quick question - which rate of mortgage should I go for ( in light of todays .25% ECB interest rate increase). I am at present applying for a mortgage of 150,000 and was full sure that I should go variable but now I don't know. What do you think? Anyone else trying to decide whether to fix or not?
Any advice greatly appreciated...... :)
 
There are many, many existing threads on the whole fixed versus variable/tracker question that you should root out and read.
