I pay my refuge charge one year in advanced and did so this March. Payment was accepted and processed. Last week I received a letter from the company involved that they were cutting the collections from every week to every second week, at the same cost. This is essentially a 100% increase i.e., 26 collections for the price of 52. Their terms and conditions state that I must pay a cancellation fee of €50.
Can they change the service they offer after they have been paid for in full for a more comprehensive service? If I cancel the service surely they cannot enforce the cancellation fee considering the above facts? Please help!!!!
