Was in Belfast a couple of months back and parked in Victoria Square carpark. When I was entering, my Easypass yoke bleeped but I ignored it. I took my ticket and the barrier opened. I paid my parking fee with cash in the ticket machine and proceeded home as normal.
When I by chance checked my Easypass account some time later I discovered over €13 was deducted from my account for Victoria Square Parking.
I contacted the helpdesk at least 6 times and finally got a refund but it is a warning to check that we are not paying parking on the double. I remember easypass informing me that I could pay carpark charges on easypass account but I had not concented to this.
