A family member is purchasing a house in an area where it is difficult to get planning permission. There is a mobile home near the house and she has been told that it has been there for 6 years. It is set up on blocks and has water and sewer and electricity connections.
The vendors have agreed to remove this structure before closing but I feel that there may be a benefit to leaving it there if it would mean that she may be entitled to get planning permission for a solid structure in its place.
Does anybody know if this is the case and how many years it has to be in place before such entitlement kicks in.
