They are pushing people towards this option and while they do charge your agreed interest rate on both the Affordable and the Warehoused portion, the interest only accrues as simple interest on the Warehoused portion.
The annoying thing is they won't commit to what "affordable" actually means and give a formula to calculate what portion of your Warehoused mortgage would move to the Affordable mortgage should your situation improve in future years.
