Cutting evergreen trees

I'm located in Galway and have several evergreen trees at the end of my garden that seriously need to be cut back, they are about 20 feet high! If I want the job done properly who should I get? I don't want some fella to come along and hack away at them with a chainsaw and leave them looking even worse than they do now. Has anyone any recommendations they could pass along to me. BTW I e-mailed Coillte for suggestions but they didn't even bother to reply.

There is a recommendation for a tree surgeon in this key post on Trees but unfortunately it is only for one in Dublin. Maybe a phone call to him might provide one for Galway.

is a forester friend of mine. You could give him a call and he might well advise or put you in contact with someone.
