Credit Report incorrect

Have any of you filled for credit report to discover it was incorrect. Im did to help support a mortgage application ? I got my report back yesterday to discover its saying i still owe the BOI 500 Euro even though this loan wss closed slmost 2 years ago. I have a letter from the boi from the time stating this was closed. Anyone know why this would hsppen?

When a loan has been closed (where all payments have been discharged, or the loan closed off or written off by the lender), the information will be completely removed from the credit report five years after the last payment was made.
