It is insulting to compare what happened in Killiney with the memory of the Famine. Very very wealthy people chosing to not move into any one of their very many expensive rental properties and chosing to stay rent free in their mansion at our expense is nausating.

It is also insulting to the very many families who are worried sick about losing their homes as they do their best to try and meet mortgage payments and feed their families.

"at our expense"..... Why is it at our expense? Well its your govnment that has made it your expensive. You didnt make the decision in the first place to give out these loans and im sure if you did you'd have made a better job of it, its the banks and the regulator that made these poor decisions and now who has to pay for the mistakes, the innocent people of ireland, all the tax payers. Its crazy and it just amazes me how the irish public accept it everytime for the inadequate and incapable politicans surrounded by an unfunctioning and inacpable group of civil servants. Just a crazy system, you vote to change your politicans and yet thise the run the country, the civil servants from the finance department, etc are never changed. Thats probably why the government spend so much money on consultants reports, because they are aware of the mess within the civil service.

Isnt amazing, the government have irish people turning on irish people with their trickery. If you the tax payer didnt have to bail out the banks and pay for all their mistakes, you'd probably have more sympathy for the couple who got evicted or you may not even care but because the government are making you pay for there mishaps and that of the banks, everyone is trying to support the banks in getting their money back, it means less taxes to pay. On the other hand, if the banks had to support themselves like out here in eastern europe, then i think the irish taxpayers would have a different mind set. I am just amazed at how easy the government, the banks and those responsible are having it, no marches, no major challenges to the government like in greece and france.

Check out this youtube video on the Treaty the Irish governmentbwant you to sign up to. Not only are the government turning irish people against irish but now they are selling you out. It wasnt enough to bail out the banks, screw tax payers but now you wont believe what they want you to do and Kenny is not willing to wait to see what France will do but rather rush through this Treaty and screw the little Island of Ireland and all its nationals for life.......*http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CZr17HLH5U.
