What does the company have a right to in relation to the leases of every member through conveyancing?

Should it be an origonal countersigned lease for every member or would a photocopy suffice if the sellers solicitor suggests it? If the sellers solicitor refuses to provide this document (or where they do it is at severe cost to the company) what are the options available to the company?

The MUD act would seem to suggest that all counterpart leases be held by the company. Thats a lot of paperwork!
