As a teacher my pension will have two parts 1. State Contributory and 2. Teachers pension. I understand I can work as a substitute teacher and claim the contributory pension but that I go back to the first point of the pay scale. I it possible to claim the contributory pension at 66 without retiring from my job? I would not claim the teacher portion of the pension while continuing to work at my current point on the payscale. Do I have to claim both parts on the pension at the same time?
