Confirmation of Mortgage form

Re: Banking & Payments Federation Ireland Confirmation of Mortgage form. (Version 1.1 20110).
I made a gift to daughter (together with her partner) as help with mortgage deposit. The solicitor handling their mortgage application has provided the above refd form for me to sign. Just wondering who signs Pg.4. Me or the mortgage applicant.

Is it an unconditional gift, or were you intending to retain any interest in the purchased property?

Aside: you probably intended to gift the entire sum to your daughter, to avoid triggering CAT on any amount above the Group C and annual exemption thresholds: https://www.revenue.ie/en/gains-gif...-aggregation-rules/cat-groups-thresholds.aspx

It amazes me that, in this day and age, documents intended to be signed by the ordinary person can not be produced in plain language.
