closing sole trader business

simply joe i havn't took a wage out of the company for three months the house i have is from doing up old houses on the side on saturdays and sundays and evenings and also my wife works six days a week so thats how i have a nice house so d'not be jealous and go on to the grupy forum it would suit you better.
None of the business money was used in the buying of old houses if any thing the profits from these are been pumped into the business from time to time. And im sick of people like you sticking your nose in because you have nothing better to do.

I was once told by a member that I should not post questions on AAM if I was not prepared to accept the answers that may come, some of which I may not like. In a public forum we do not always hear what we want. Thats the nature of them.

Agreed, if you are willing to listen/ask I would be happy to recomend specialist who might be able to assit you.

Voilet. You are entitled to your opinion. The reason I post here is out of duty. A pay back for some of the advice and information I myself get from other posters. Saying that my post did not really address your problem but was more of a warning to other business people. Whilst serious your problem is not beyond being solved. Go see an insolvency expert. If you have no confidence in your accountant change him. You need someone that cares for your business and one who will give you proper advice irrespective of whether you like it or not.

I have talked to my suppliers and they have agreed to take back stock and have agreed settlement figures.Machines are going next week along with vans etc.I have agreed with the bank to pay them back the €45000 overdraft over the next two months as i get paid for the last few jobs. All my employees have been sorted out and i am left with absolutly nothing.I am selling my house and going to start fresh again may be in another country dnot know yet.
I would advice alot of ye that wrote on this forum to read the question first and then reply to what is written.Simply joe you remind me of my accountant who is unemployed and spends his day praying on others problems and cant sort out his own

Graham i can take advice but not the bull**** that was written on this forum only one or two points relate to what the question was at the start the rest is nothing but praying on some ones problem.Pointing out what should of been done before the problem came around what good is that.
Altough we are good at that us irish never looking to give someone a hand out.

I have read these posts, and started off feeling for this voilet chap. I found them informative and interesting and made a lot of sense. To add my 2 cents worth, your biggest problem seems to be, a MAJOR chip on your shoulder. These guys are trying to point you in a direction they think can help you. Why did you post if you only people to say what you want to hear. There was no one here being jealous?????

(LS400)The forum idea is to get ideas which there was some in the forum but the majoriaty were people writing about what i should of done and also writing forums telling me the things i should't have. The reply that i wrote about been jealous was to reply to the plonker that said i should't of drawn so much and i should live in a more modest house and if he bothered to read the forum or asked me the questions before he jump to conclusions he would know the truth.AND AS FOR YOU GO FIND SOMETHING TO DO INSTEAD OF WRITING STUPID CHILDISH COMMENTS.

This has got to be a wind up, just like your company. Dont think you have the inteligence to run one. Have a nice day.

OP I appreciate your frustration with the business situation you are in, however you may find it difficult to get constructive posts by directing those frustrations at individual posters. may also be of help.

What you are doing now is completely different from your original post about seeing if you could leave people high and dry close for 2 weeks and reopen etc and people were worried about the trouble you might be getting yourself into.

However, I am delighted to see that you have managed to sort out all of your liabilities and wish you all the best for the future.
