Hi All,

Im certain the revaluation of the chinese yuan in the not so distant future may interest some people in buying the yuan or investing in chinese assets based on the current manner chinese - US trade is performed.

In the medium term it is unrealistic to think the yuan will be pegged at 8.3 against the dollar this figure must rise even if pegging is kept.

What are peoples thoughts on Shanghai and has anyone invested there yet.

Im thinking of heading over with my basket of euros and throwing em down. Im interested in what financing options are available also for foreigners.

Details please / thoughts.

Only looking into this at the moment so anything thats overlooked let me know. Previously 1 euro was worth in and around 8 yuan now its 11.8 naturally this is due to the pegging against the USD however im interested in taking advantage. I know the dollar has a long way to toward 1.4-1.5 against the euro but i think the chinese may move the pegging before the end of this year.
