Anyone ever taken a holiday in any of the Centre Parcs resorts in the UK?

Are they worth the money?

Did you take your car with you via the ferry or fly direct?

Any other advice?
 
My boss goes every year with his wife and two children...who are now in 20s...and now two boyfriends. He loves it as do the children. They do ferry and drive.
 
Might be of help...2adults 3kids went stenaline car and week deal in Pontins Park in Wales. Best week, approx €450 to book. Unfortunately that deal not running this summer but with Haven only.
 
I think these types of holiday suit some people and not others. Depends what you are looking for in a holiday.
 
not done centre parcs but holiday in the UK most years. I'd recommend taking a car, especially if you have small kids. Likely to be cheaper and if you are feeling stir crazy in the camp, you can get out and about easier. I have looked at centre parcs but thought they were very expensive in comparison to renting a house in an area
