There's a couple of advertisements in the media at the moment advertising Car Loans/Finance from other EU countries, regulated by the financial regulators of these other EU countries. (I don't want to mention any company names here, as per guidelines 
).
I've a slight problem with this, as unlimited credit to Irish banks from the same countries that these Car Loan institutions are based in, is one of the reasons for such a serious financial mess in Ireland at present. Now they are trying to put us (Irish People) in more hock with these car loans which are benefiting these stronger European economies.
I'm also wondering are these loans contrary to EU competition laws as the Irish Financial Institutions cannot compete against them at present?
