Hi , i am married two years
- I bough property 10 years ago , property fully paid off before i met
my wife
- purchased another property last year(nov 05) with my wife , used equity(200k) in current home(mortgage lender knows this) to purchase second home (cost 500k).
- house Due for completion in Feb 2007 , where by we will then move
to new property and make our PPR
-Wifes name is not on Deeds of First home but as we are purchasing
second home together her name is on Mortgage Application
and is paying her share of the current Mortgage Payment(top up
Mortgage) .
My Question is can my wife claim TRS on topup mortgage(used to purchase new home) even though her name is not on the deeds of the first house . If she can claim TRS , can she claim hers share as a FTB.
