Has any one bought or intend buying the new golf;Was thinking of buying one a 2litre Diesel model .Any one any experiences with same model.
 
i have no experience with the golf but i would say in the current climate you are in a strong position to haggle for all the discount/optional extras that your little heart desires.:)

get the best deal you can then play one dealer against the other.

remember it's probably easier for them to throw in factory optional extras/full tank of fuel/car mats/roof racks etc etc than to drop the price. so decide before you approach them if there's anything in particular you're after.
