Is it normal to put in an offer on a new house? I am looking at one I like and there is a 35k gap between what I have and the asking price....I could probably find some more money but not enough.
So what do people do? The houses are selling so its not that they are sitting on the market for a long time. The Estate Agent is abrasive to say the least and I have a hard time not loosing my temper with her as every question you ask is avoided. All she is interested in is that the full amount must be paid 3 weeks after the deposit and not when the house is finished. That is the sum total of conversation from her side as she just repeats herself if you ask anything about the financial end of things and blocks off any conversation. Not that I was asking about a lower price...but I did have some questions about the 3 weeks vs the key handover date....as I wasn't aware that this happened.
