BTEA and rent allowance

I am hopefully starting college in september. I am currently on jobseekers and I will need to to claim BTEA. I will probably have to move nearer to college as it's very far and expensive to commute there, will I be entitled to any sort of rent allowance or supplement? also, is there any other grant I will be entitled to? I was told there is a €500 grant to help with initial costs such as buying books, paying deposit for accomodation etc. is this true?

Also, if I find a saturday job, will this affect my btea and rent allowance? (If I'm entitled to it in the first place of course)

You will find information regarding the BTEA scheme here

As far as I am aware you can work part time throughout the course and keep your allowance, it is not payable in the summer time although you may be allowed to claim jobseekers benefit or job seekers allowance in certain circumstances.
