Bankruptcy 1 year ?

It will be pointless unless they reduce the payment order to 3 or less years, which has been mooted as part of the revision. As a bankrupt the payment order is the punishment, not the tag of 'bankrupt'.

Yeap, going in the right direction >

pointless unless they reduce the payment order to 3 or less years

.. but not far enough. Payment Orders should be reduced to 1 year as per proposed 'bankruptcy term'..

Why bother entering voluntary bankruptcy now - unless Payment Order periods post bankruptcy are slashed?

Why voluntarily reduce ones standard of living now - by - 'engagement' with banks when such 'engagement' inevitably leads to >

..more cash for the banks / less cash in your pocket..

Better to frustrate banks repeatedly to point of them petitioning bankruptcy - and - let that process drag out indefinitely..

... While all that time putting your savings AKA (bank's 'engagement' money) under a mattress to prepare for time when Payment Order begins after racking up as much legal costs for the bank as possible :)
