Recent Renovation. House is heated with a back boiler stove and hot water is gravity fed.

Hot water pressure is terrible. Is ther any way of increasing pressure from the tap?

House is a two up/two down farmhouse, it has 7 rads, two pumps (one upstairs heating and one for downstairs).

Cold water pressure is excellent where fed directly from the well and adequate where fed from the tank in the attic.

Any help/thoughts here would be appreciated.

There is some sort of pressure unit you can buy as it is fitted on solar heating systems. It goes in the attic, but not being a plumber, I can't give you any further info!

Hi, the pressure from your hot tap should be essentially the same as the cold water tap from your attic.

If it is much worse than your cold tap fed from the tank then that suggests:
1) a pipe / valve restriction somewhere between your tank and your hot water tap.
2) An airlock in your pipework between your tank and your hot water tap.

Another answer, is that you put a small pump with a pressure switch at the output of your hot water cylinder.

If you install a pump at the hot water cylinder make sure it's the right rating. I got one that is ridiculously overrated and can't be adjusted. Lovely powerful showers but they empty the tank in five minutes.
