Have three cats. Want to buy new sofas. What material is best to avoid the cat hairs sticking? I know, I know ... I should keep the cats away from the furniture. Can't do that - it's a very small house! Also I love the little angels! I keep throws over the furniture as much as possible, and remove when we come in from work (or someone calls). There must be a material that's 'better' for collecting less hairs than other materials - any ideas anybody??
 
You could try leather. My cats hate it. I guess because it's colder than their own snuggly beds. I have to say though that this will be my first and last leather couch. I didn't realise how much colder it would feel. Some nights, even I'd prefer the cat basket :)

Well said Rebecca! I'll take your suggestion on board. (or swap places with the cats, who seem to have a very cosy existence altogether)!! All the same, I wouldn't have it any other way ... I do adore them.
