AIB cut my LTV rate when I told them I was moving to KBC

Hi Brendan,

AIB recently switched me from >80% LTV rate to >50% LTV rate, I advised I had been offered a better rate from KBC, they re-assessed my LTV themselves(without formal vlauation) and advised they would move me to the lower rate as they now believed my LTV was closer 64%...

So they will switch you to a better LTV rate if you push them.....
 
This is the second poster at least today, we had one with BofI and now AIB. All linked to getting a good offer from KBC. Come on now KBC, you can go lower. The big two don't want you in town. But you guys are bigger. Watch out though, since I've been born I've never seen a foreign bank get a foothold like the two incumbrants and many have tried. It's awfully difficult to get Irish customers to switch bank account.
