A week away for 2 adults + 2 children?

Have 2 children one is 3 and one is just 1. Thinking of going away for a week in August. Not sure whether to book a last minute sun holiday or try to go somewhere in Ireland. Will be finished with sterilising things by then which should makes things easier. Anyone any recommendations of what worked for them? THis may be too last minute and might not get anything!

Try or www.selfcateringireland.ieif you decide on staying in Ireland. I have used both of these and found them quite good. We rented out houses on the grounds of Hotels which gave you free use of their leisure facilities. Have to say it worked out very well. Didn't really matter if it rained (more than likely it will if you stay in Ireland for your holiday).
We stayed in Portumna, the Shannon Oaks Hotel, and Mount Wolseley, Carlow. Houses were of very high standard & also a big hit with our 4 kids!
