16th Birthday

Hi all, my eldest child, daughter, will be 16 soon and I would like to do something for her and also buy her something real nice that she would have to keep forever. Any ideas?

I got a gorgeous ring for my 16th from my mam, treasure it to this day.

Best thing is to ask her what she would like to do. Perhaps she thinks she's too grown up to spend it with her mam, instead might like to take in a movie, pizza and have a few girls over for a DVD?

It really depends on what she likes. Girly girls always love jewellery!

You can get animals ,clothes etc all hanging from silver chains in an unusual way.
I think for one chain and animal it would be about 160e.But she has earings etc which are cheaper.
I bought mine on brownie points.ie but have tried their site several times and I think they have folded.
Anyhow they are beautiful pieces and I have mine years and its perfect,everyone comments on how unusual it is,so have a look at the website and see what you think.
