A good friend of mine is a little lost at the minute and my judgement is not the best on employment law.
He has been with the company for well over a year on a 0 hour contract which was fine. A new manager came to the company and he didnt get on with him. Without warning his hours were cut to 0 as he is on a 0 hour contract which he is taking on the chin.
However since his hours were cut:
1. the employer has stopped sending him the roster at all even if he's not on it.
2. the owner of the company has hired both of his sons for summer work.
3. the company currently have an active advertisement for his role online posted today.
Is he pretty much in a situation where he can do nothing due to his contract or is there anything he can do?
