Default Demolition of Garden Shed

Hi

I've just gotten a quote of almost 5k (including VAT) to have a concrete garden shed (about 9ft x 6) demolished. This includes sub-contract for disposal of an asbestos roof, some repairs to and erecting wooden fence panels along boundary wall. Does that seem like a fair price?

Once asbestos is mentioned, it becomes an expensive job!

Thanks. Thats what I thought too but would you believe the most expensive part of breakdown is the erection of a 10m wood panel fence - almost 1400?!
