Claim dirt tax back

Can i claim some dirt tax back if i have not used my tax credits since im not working, or getting dole Paying a few grand a year in dirt tax .If i cant can i use my credit to cover my prsi

There are 5 categories who can be exempted from DIRT of claim back
1...Over 65, subject to certain income limits
2...Disabled, subject to certain criteria
3...Non resident for tax
4...Registered charities
5...Trustees for a permaently incapacitated person

No, PRSI isn't tax, it's social insurance.

How would this work on married couple who had very different income levels after 65 but currently jointly assessed.
