Travel insurance for person with diabetes?

Can anyone recommend some one that can do travel insurance for a person with diabetes (type 2)? All the regular companies only want healthy people

getcover.com had no probs covering a skiing holiday last year; they wanted a few details from my friend but otherwise were fine and no additional premium.

Hi Bond - Are they refusing to provide cover at all, or just for any issues arising from the pre-existing condition?

They won't provide any cover at all. I assume I need a specialist company.

Have you tried ?

Grandmother in her 80's was going to the US a few years ago and we had awful trouble trying to get insurance. We got it from in the end, it cost almost a grand though
