Default What can I use to cut up heavy cardboard boxes?

I have some heavy cardboard boxes (e.g the ones that my pc was delivered in) and in order to get them into my green bin I need to cut them up. An ordinary household scissors isnt much use. What could I use, any ideas-something I could buy in Woodies/ Atlantic Homecare or the like? Thanks.

A Stanley Knife? (but be careful!)

usually you can just leave it out beside your green bin and it will be taken away.
