Hi all
I signed on last year and claimed around 3 weeks dole in the end. Then got a temp job which I have since been made permanent in. I started the temp job in October and the girl in the Social Welfare office said she'd mark my claim "suspended". I never went back to them to tell them I got the permanent job, does anyone know do I have to (they are hard to get on the phone and I am working full time now, and not in town where my local office is) or does my claim after a certain amount of time 'suspended' get stopped? Just want to make sure I do things correctly. thanks M |

You can close your claim online using the links on this page:
http://www.welfare.ie/EN/ContactUs/P...mByCounty.aspx Your claim would be closed eventually (it was left open to minimise delays if you had to resume signing after your temp job). Congrats on the job! |
