EBS to raise variable mortgage rate from Oct

And as they are effectively merging into AIB, does that imply that AIB are next? I saw somewhere in the news sites on Friday that AIB would change rates in days. They have yet to pass on the ECB hike in July, and I don't recall them doing the April one either.

I haven't heard anything about Aib. The EBS raised the variable rate in April and just recently in August. Am pretty annoyed at this 3rd hike this year.

I just heard that KBC will be increasing their variable rates and they will take effect in October..

Tis a disgrace 4th raise this year so far are they trying to distroy people or what

I just got a letter from ICS telling me that they are raising my interest rate by 0.5% next month. I am not very impressed as they normally only raise the rates when the ECB do the same.
