Hi.
We recently got approved with KBC for a mortgage for renovations. It has advertised that it will pay 1,000 towards legal fees. We are in the process of submitting the final bits and bobs to drawdown the mortgage. We are dealing with a Broker. How do we get the 1k? Do KBC pay the Solicitor, or do they pay us and we use it to pay legal costs. Has anyone any experience with this. It would be great to get it as we are running over budget as it is and it would be nice to pay Solicitor out of the morgage providers funds. I think our costs will be about 750.
