Hi,
I'm just wondering if any of the AAM knowledgeable people can give me some advice about an electric pencil sharpener that my daughter bought recently. It has 120 voltage and she used an adapter which she thought was suitable for converting it to our voltage. It only worked for a very short time and now has a very strong burning smell from it. We have opened it but it does not have a fuse or anything that might be replaced. The adapter still works perfectly with other items.
From my vague description is it most likely that the motor is burnt out?
