I am just wondering if anyone has any advice. Myself and my wife have just applied for a mortgage, she is on maternity leave until January when her 6 months are up and she is back to work.
We went through the full application and everything went fine, the fact she is on maternity leave was noted at the time, however from googling it it seems that the fact one of the applicants is on maternity leave can result in the approval being refused?
Bit worried now obviously, as we should have no problem getting a mortgage otherwise!!
