Would love to know the opinion of anyone who has either of these two stoves, I see some discussions on here a few years back about the S23 but nothing about the Stanford 80.
We're fitting a stove in our sunroom and have narrowed it down to these two.
Based on room dimensions we require 5.5 kW of heat but I'm hoping for some heat out to the kitchen also so wanted around 8kw.
The Stanford 80 is 9kw with a side door which I like for getting logs in.
The S23 is only 7kw, no side door, but is apparently a far more efficient machine, I can get a second hand one of those (it's perfect, I've inspected it and know the seller). The S23 also has a more robust fire bar at the front.......but.....it's only 7kw so maybe that won't be enough.
It's costing a lot to install either way so I want to pick the right one, if anyone has either of these I'd love to know your experience.
