Tesco.ie - Can address be entered directly (not selected from drop down)?

I've just created a new account on Tesco.ie.

When entering my address I input the first line of my address and the county and then have to select an address from a drop down list. There is an address similar to mine but its not quite right. This is fine for delivery as I can add detail in the "further information" box... but when I try to start to checkout my credit card is rejected - I've tried a couple of cards so I think the problem is that the address doesn't match, but again I can't enter the address directly I have to select from a drop down.

Has anyone had this problem? any ideas how to get around it?

I have emailed but I would need to get the order completed asap!
 
I think so I believe i managed it some how.. not very helpful,

all of tesco.ie and tesco mobile back end systems seem to have been made 20 years ago they are clunky and difficult to use.. dont give you the information you are looking for..
 
Just a tip re Tesco online - use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, I ran into huge problems with re-ordering and was advised to use Mozilla instead - have never had an issue since. There are problems between Explorer and Tesco online.
