Motor Insurance on Continent

Hi,
Can anyone help or advise.

I have purchased a UK registered Car in the UK. I am going to be working on the continent for the next 6 months so I wont be bringing the car to Ireland - I will just pick up in UK and drive to continent.

Are there any Irish insurance companies that will insure my UK registered vehicle for use on the continent.

Let me know or advise what is the best for me to proceed.

Nope, best bet is to insure the car where you will be based for the next 6 mths. Irish insurers will generally give 30 days cover in any EU country but you must be residing in ireland.
