Opening US bank account in Dublin?

No US bank has a retail offering in Ireland.

Are you looking to open a USD account? or an account with a US bank? or both?
 
paperclip, are you going to the US any time soon? Bank of America (and some of the other big banks) will set up free US$ accounts for non-residents with chequebook, debit card, etc. You just need passport.
