Hi
I recently got a new hall door including frames. There is a step up from the porch floor to the hall floor. The carpenter inserted a piece of wood in the gap. It doesnt look particularly well finished but Im more concerned that there should be some kind of ventilation holes in this wooden insert to allow air to circulate under the floor- if you know what i mean:confused: Do I need these ventilation holes?
The carpenter also put the yale lock too high and it rotates loosely in the door
You might rightly suggest that I ask the carpenter but everytime I ring he promises to ring me back and never does. Im a widow and sometimes feel that some trademen are less helpful to female customers:(
Any advice much appreciated
Thanks
