House Insurance - Can we cancel?

Guys,
Have house insurance policy renewed in Feb, shopped around but seemed to have missed one provider which when sorting out or mortgage and banking issues was pointed out to me that I could save 100 euro.

Now can I cancel this policy only 2 months in do you know?

You can cancel but the company can charge short term rates if it is in the first year of the policy. This means they amount they refund you would be substantially less than the premium divided by 12 months times the amount of time left on policy. Check the terms and conditions or ring the company to check.
As you say you renewed I assume you have been with them longer than 2 months so shouldn't be charged short term rates but may be charged an administration fee of about €30. Every company differs so ring them to make sure that you don't make a loss by trying to make a saving!
