Pateo Village - Albufeira, Algarve

Looking through Budget Travel catalogue for last day or so and have more or less decided to go with 2wks in July at Pateo Village, Albufeira. Does anybody have any experience of this complex? Have looked at Trip Advisor for reviews and most seem v positive however there seemed to be a few posts about security issues with regard to break-in but to be fair these were a bit dated (2004). So just looking for some feedback from anybody who might have been there in the last year or so.
