Am buying annual travel insurance for my family to guard against any possible Ryanair shenanigans in the event of cancellation of a flight. Nightmare stories abound.
How would this be classified in insurance policies? None of them seem to mention "Scheduled Airline Failure", which I guess is the correct term.
I spoke to some brokers who were unclear, and suggested that it might fall between "delayed departure" and "travel delay". Neither category seems particulary credible to me.
Anyone...?
