I'm an Irish citizen and perpetual traveller who, going by number of days in a country, has not satisfied residency requirements anywhere in the past few years.

I was working remotely for an Irish company that payed me a minimal amount and I was taxed by revenue for this. However at the moment I’m unemployed but make money from online poker. I’ve made pretty much all of my wealth since I started traveling.

I want an advisor who can confirm to me where I'm resident of, and help me become resident in a country that does not charge CGT.

Because the other two are looking for investment advice and tax advise respectively from forumites.
This is looking for a professional advisor that can possibly help with my situation, hence why it's in this sub forum.

You are looking for
1 investment advice

2 tax advice

3 advice on residency without CGT

You have had input from many posters here so I think you should

Google 1 2 &3

Seems like you need to be careful with regards residency , as most people who think they are avoiding residency are caught by it! also worth remembering, the 90 day residency revenue rules is not a legal protection afforded to you by the courts, and as such can come against you at a latter point! revenue rules are just that!
I think given the information supplied in previous posts, 110quests solution does seem like a good idea, and after, should you wish to progress, and ready to make a decision, there are options open to you I can discuss with you.
Alternatively, if you are making a living playing poker, i would suggest you take advantage of that and set yourself up as a professional and apply for future tax reliefs and grants available!!! and be careful of money laundering and tax issues resulting from same.

I've been given a quote of 1500 EUR by a tax advisor to research international and local tax law rules and conclude where I am tax resident.

Is this a reasonable price offer, and if not can anybody recommend a tax advisor that is more experienced in this market and so will not need to do as much research and charge a lower fee?

I think you will find that because of their higher level of expertise, they will charge you just as much, if not more.

Sounds a bit steep. If you allow an hourly rate of €100 that'd be 15 hours. Don't see how there's 15 hours in it tbh

It will be rather difficult to find an advisor with high levels of experience in and expertise of international tax, for the colour of €100 per hour, or anything near it.

Do I need a solicitor who is also a tax consultant or just an international tax specialist advisor?

Following what sbarrett and mcgibney said, I think I'd rather pay more per hour to get the job done quicker and be sure that the advisor hasn't made a mistake, once the cost is still reasonable.
