My employer currently pays 100% of my Private Health Insurance and now wants to go to a 70/30 split. As this has been the case since the company started would this qualify as a change to the core elements of my contract ?
I understand the implications but would I be within the law to refuse to accept this change ? Can the employer unilaterally change this type of core benefit ?
