My partner and I rented our property in 2013 and I'm now filling in my form 11.

Total rent income: €12000
75% mortgage Interest: €3500
All other expenses: €3000

Total taxable: €5500
As we both own the property, the tax owed is divided between the two of us.

On my side, €2750 will be taxed at 52% (IT+PRSI+USC), declared on my form 11.

For my partner, it's a bit more complicated as she didn't work in 2013. Even though I'm guessing she won't be taxed, this needs to be declared somewhere... Any idea?

I will look at form on line later but for now why do you think she wont be taxed on it?
How are you taxed now: single, joint, separate assessment ?

If single her Personal TC is 1,650 and as Rent is not PAYE income thats that, on basic assumptions

Well you wouldn't pay tax then !

We were single for tax purpose in 2013. She would have had her €3000 tax credit (PAYE and single), she finished work in March 2013 (so she did work for a short period that year) and then was on maternity leave for 6 months.
