Sliding doors 500mm

Thinking of replacing hotpress door with sliding doors to allow more access to hotpress.Total width is 1470mm but I would need to allow for the frame. It has been mentioned that 2 sliding doors to fit this width are light and may cause problems. Has anyone any positive feedback or experience with sliding doors on an area this small.

The width of your doors would be about 760mm each, as, with sliding doors you dont really lose anything on the width. The problem is that regardless of whichever way you put the doors half of your hotpress is always blocked. After a while it'll do your head in. But apart from B&Q, Woodworkers in mount talant ave do kits for home assembly.ps I suppose i should also mention IKEA as if I dont someone else will.BUT THERE IS LIFE AFTER IKEA!!!!!!!
