Guys I'm trying to work out the cost to me to avail of the cycle to work scheme. The rate I pay will obviously determine the bikes buy.

I am a public servant so this is where I'm confused as I pay pension payments etc and I also have a OPF tax credit.

I have 2012 P60 if those figures help?

Standard rate is €36,800 for one parent families. If your monthly taxable income is above €3,066 odd the you are on the higher rate.

Thanks joe. Is my monthly income my gross pay before pension, levies, avc etc?
Or is it my taxable income (from 2012 P60) /12 ?

Sorry if the questions sound dumb, I just want to make sure. Thanks again.

You can test this using my net income calculator: download it at http://taxcalc.eu/monthlyss.

It's Excel 2007 or higher and uses macro code- leave a message here if you need a hand.

Can't access that on my phone but will try it on my pc on Monday, thanks deadlyduck
Based on my gross salary, I am on the higher rate for a portion but I am thorn because my P60 for last year says my taxable income is below 35k.
