Our architect is recommending we use Isynene in the walls of our new build cavity walls.I have pointed out that it does not have I.A.B approval and it does not seem to bother him.
I know there are a few threads discussing this product but is there anyone out there that has had Isynene in a new cavity build for a while and are they satisfied or experienced problems?

It does have a BBA cert though. [broken link removed]

However, it is not certified for being used in the cavity of a cavity wall.

Surely you'd be much better off using one of the systems actually designed for use in the cavity and there are several with IAB certification.

SAS,
Are there any pumped in foam products with IAB certification or is it just the beaded variety. Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. There is a rockwool product that isn't a beaded product but isn't a foam either.

In case you aren't aware just go here [broken link removed] and select "Thermal Insulation" in the "Product Area".

This will show all thermal insulation currently IAB certified. The external insulation systems are under a different product area though in case anyone else is interested.
